ST. LOUIS . . . Lincoln recently introduced the Mityvac Professional Compression Test Kit for the automotive, industrial and marine engine markets, as well as the smaller engine market including lawn mowers, chain saws and line trimmers. Designed to perform both wet and dry compression tests, the kit is used to diagnose worn piston rings, cylinders, valve-train damage and blown head gaskets.
The kit features the air hold quick connector, allowing the user to attach the air supply to perform valve stem seal replacement without removal of the cylinder head. Also included is a heavy-duty 2-3/4-inch gauge with high impact lens, rubber boot and three scales of measure (PSI, kg/cm2 and Bar). The kit has an attached 10-inch whip hose and quick coupler for fast setup and an easy-access pressure relief valve. Packaged in a custom blow-molded case for protection and easy storage, the kit comes complete with extension hoses and an assortment of 10mm, 12mm, 14mm and 18mm short- and long-reach adapters.
